Jon Gorman is a Senior Vice President with Power Construction Company. Power Construction Company is a 93-year-old family and management-owned construction firm that is focused primarily on the greater Chicago metro area. Jon is part of the family’s third generation managing and having an ownership interest in the company Jon began his career with Power Construction Company is 1986, working from the bottom-up in the company. Today, he primarily works with clients and their designers during the design phase of projects pricing and engineering buildings to meet clients’ budgets and needs. Jon is also a member of Gorman Family Holdings and serves as chairman of their investment committee. In addition to having a significant interest in Power Construction Company, Gorman Family Holdings also has a significant interest in Power Wellness Management and owns most of the family’s marketable securities and other investments. Jon serves the role of chief investment officer for Gorman Family Holdings. Jon attended the Jerome Fisher Program in Management & Technology at the University of Pennsylvania where he earned degrees from the Wharton School and the engineering school. During school and for a couple years after college, Jon composed music and played guitar in a rock band. When not working, Jon enjoys exercising and live music. Jon is a member of the Illinois Institute of Technology Stuart School of Business Board of Advisors.
