As director of family governance, David is a senior leader within the organization and a trusted resource who works alongside GenSpring’s advisors as they help client families identify wealth objectives and develop appropriate methods for governing their shared assets.
Further, he serves as managing director of the Northeast Region where he oversees all aspects of the GenSpring client experience in the Greenwich, Connecticut and New York City offices. David joined the team in 2006 as a family wealth advisor and has held increasingly responsible positions throughout his tenure. Prior to joining, he worked for a number of trust companies including Bankers Trust, Deutsche Bank Trust and U. S. Trust. David spent much of his 20 plus year career in Trust and Estate Administration. He speaks and writes regularly for professional and client groups on a myriad of topics including family governance, family dynamics, next generation education and planning for closely held businesses
